If you are hosting any sort of game or casino event that involves playing cards knowing how to shuffle is imperative. Let’s face it we are not all dealers at a casino in Vegas, they make shuffling look easy and to some people it comes easy but if you are all thumbs like me even the simplest shuffling techniques are to difficult. I’ve spent many hours practicing to do different shuffles and it just didn’t help so I stuck to the plug and chug method. But then I was informed of a solution. Automatic card shufflers. Let me tell you they sure do make things a lot easier.
There are many different automatic card shufflers you can choose from. Some have the ability to only shuffle one deck and some can shuffle up to eight or more decks. What I like about these automatic shufflers is that they are pretty portable some take batteries or you can just plug them up to the wall. The only downside is that you have the put the cards through several times to get them properly mixed up and that might take a little extra time but it is a lot better than trying to fumble around with the cards.
However if you want to learn to shuffle like a professional in the casinos then you will need a quality deck of cards that can handle being shuffled over and over. Plastic playing cards will probably be your best bet to practice with. They will last way longer than paper playing cards and won’t wear out after shuffling a couple times. There are many different types of cards and most cards come in either bridge or poker size so you just need to see which size you feel more comfortable shuffling with. Also there are quite a few brands to choose from when deciding on a quality deck of plastic playing cards some of the most well known brands are Kem, Copag, and Da Vinci but there are many others you can look into if none of those have the perfect deck of cards for you.
Knowing how to shuffle is pretty important. If it doesn’t come naturally to you don’t fret just practice or invest in an automatic shuffler and your problems are solved.
